KK Wind Solutions rebrands as KK Group
KK Wind Solutions changes its name to KK Group, reflecting its recent acquisitions, expanded portfolio of solutions and evolution into a more diversified industrial business.
Over the past three years, KK Wind Solutions has undergone a rapid transformation. The company has tripled in size and grown into a global organisation with more than 3,700 employees across 10 countries.
Today, the company’s expanded capabilities include the development, manufacturing and service of power, controls, cooling and monitoring solutions. In addition to its close partnership with customers in the wind industry, it also serves adjacent energy-intensive industries including hydrogen, mining, rail, defence and energy storage.
To better reflect its operational model, KK Wind Solutions is changing its name to KK Group. The new name honours the company’s legacy as a pioneer in the wind industry, while ensuring a unified identity across all business units and recently acquired companies.
“Changing our name to KK Group is a small but symbolic step for our company. Our new name respects our history and core business wind. At the same time it incorporates our recent acquisitions, which have enabled us to provide even more value for our existing customers in wind and opportunities to continue to expand our business into adjacent energy-intensive industries where we can play an important role in the energy transformation,” says Mauricio Quintana, CEO of KK Group, and continues:

Climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative
KK Wind Solutions has received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its climate targets, including a 63 percent reduction in direct operational emissions and a 38 percent reduction in supply chain emissions by 2035.
